What is Tajweed?

Tajweed is the set of important rules and guidelines for the proper articulation, pronunciation, and recitation of the Quran. The word Tajweed comes from the Arabic word Jawad which means to make better or to improve. Rectors need to recite each letter and word of the Holy Quran correctly. Tajweed helps in the correct pronunciations, rules elongation, stopping and pausing, proper intonation, and other rules. Check out our other Online Quran Classes for kids
